What does the 'Early Shift' fire hazard level mean?
Due to continued high fire hazard, 'early shift' is now put into effect. No open burning of any kind is permitted. The operation of powered equipment is only permitted until 1:00 p.m. "Watchman required" means a responsible person with telephone access must remain at the work site for 1 hour after work has stopped to ensure against a fire starting- visit gabriolafire.ca for more info.
